I publish my working criteria publicly — because access should be earned, not assumed.
How I decide
01
I work on projects where the narrative serves a purpose beyond entertainment — where place, identity, or history is doing meaningful work in the writing.
02
I don't take briefs where the parameters are fixed before the conversation starts. If the script has already decided what it is, there's no room for a producer.
03
Compressed development timelines produce compromised work. I build in the time a story needs — not the time a budget prefers.
04
I am a writer and a producer. Projects that want one without the other should look elsewhere.
I take on a small number of projects each year. If your project meets these criteria and you'd like to discuss it, use the contact form. Include the project, the stage it's at, and what you need from a producer.
